Kigezi Home Boyz FC Clinch Victory in Final League Match

Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club has today ended their 2023-24 FUFA Betpawa Big League in style with a thrilling 4 : 2 win over Masindi based side Booma Football Club at Kabale Municipal stadium.

Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club opened their scoring ways in the twelfth minute with a superb finish from Elia Asiimwe before Ashraf Nkurunungi doubled their lead at half time which ended 2 : 0 in favour of the hosts.

At the start of the second half of the game the visitors from Masindi also made a break through with a superb header in the top corner of the goal through Edson Atugonza in the fifty fourth minute of the half before Derrick Mudaali put the hosts ahead again being assisted by Charles Moses Waibi who made his debut today for Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club since the start of this year. Joseph Seremba later made it 4 goals for the hosts and then the former Kigezi Home Boyz FC player who doubles as the captain for Booma Fc scored a second goal for the visitors.

Kabale Municipal stadium today experienced a good atmosphere in the second half of the game when Charles Waibi came on as a substitute replacing Elia Asiimwe. He made an assist for Mudaali’s goal and made all the fans to recall all the good memories he brought to them last Year.

Kigezi Home Boyz Fc has finished the league in the ninth position securing themselves another chance to participate in this league again come next season early October. Their assistant captain, Joseph Seremba attributed this performance to hard work from the players and support from their fans.
