This message was delivered by the Greater Kabale district Kadhi Sheikh Kabu Lule today at Ndorwa Playground in Kabale Municipality where Muslims from Kabale Municipality had gathered for Eid Aldha prayers this morning. He said that they should emulate a prayerful life just like Prophet Ibrahim did, who had a woman with no child but became patient and prayerful untill at 90 years of old when Allah gave him Ismail and Ishaak.
Sheikh Lule further enlightened that Muslims should remember that celebration of this Eid Aldha through slaughtering of animals as a sacrifice to Allah as a way of seeking for Allah’s blessings continue for the next three consecutive days after Eid Aldha celebrations but only recommended animals by the Islam faith such as cows goats, sheep and camels are slaughtered.
Sheikh Lule also used this opportunity to call for a spirit of hard work among the Youths and Men in the Muslim community. He condemned the act of men who remain at home and send women abroad for work as they keep on waiting for money from them by saying that men should be the ones going for work and they send money to the women to take care for the children at home.
He also cautioned the Youths to stop despising jobs by their continuos search of white collar jobs even when some doesn’t have qualifications to do these jobs they yearn for. He clarified that their failure to work has greatly contributed to the insecurities and high crime rates in the country specifically in Kampala Metropolitan Area of Uganda
