Who is the New Miss Campus BBUC 2024-25, Miss Leah Nagasha ??

Leah Nagasha was crowned as the New Miss Campus Bishop Barham University College, Kabale, BBUC 2024-25.

Nagasha is a 20 years old girl, a Year One Semester One Student at BBUC doing a Diploma in Social Work and Social Administrationa resident of Kamwezi Sub county Rukiga district who attended her Primary and Secondary Education at Penstar Primary School and Makindye Secondary School respectively.

Her Passion for competing in a competition such as Miss Campus started way back during her A’ Level Studies at Makindye Secondary School when she took part in Music, Dance and Drama Competitions and won Bursaries and the School catered for her tuition.

From those Competitions Nagasha told our reporter that she gained a lot of confidence that keeps driving her up to now to always embrace each and every opportunity that comes along her way of life.

She further emphasized that she want to use her position in the Campus to be an Influencer for the good of Students and that her emphasis will be on promoting Social Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Creativity and boost the confidence of her fellow young girls in the University as a way of inspiring them to always take part in such competitions given the fact that very few themselves for such opportunities when they occur. ” I was ambitious to take part in this competition and I want to become the Campus Ambassador and Influencer to my fellow Girls in the Campus, ” Leah said following Earlier remarks by one of the Judges, Viola Nahabwe who expressed her concern about the small number of girls that take part in the Miss Campus Competitions by stating that ” There is a need to motivate Girls at BBUC to embrace such competitions notifying that it’s caused by lack of Self esteem.”

Miss Leah Nagasha the current Miss Campus BBUC replaced Elizabeth Tumuranze, Miss Campus BBUC 2023-24 after defeating Terryletishia Karagwa a Year One Semester One Student at BBUC doing a Bachelor’s Degree of Education aged 20 years old in Modelling, Fashion and Design and Culture.
