Two people died when they were involved in a single fatal accident with an unknown motorcycle that happened on the 15/12/2024 at 10 pm at Muganza village along Kisoro Kyanika road.

The motorcycle was being ridden by Jackson Kwiringiye 26 years old a Uganda People’s Defence Forces, UPDF soldier attached to Jinja college of logistics and Engineering and a born of Kifumba village Bukimbiri sub county Kisoro district who died on spot and a passenger only known as Percy from Kateretere village Bukimbiri sub county who was rushed to Kisoro hospital for treatment from where she died shortly after arrival.
It is alleged that the said rider was coming from Kanaba heading to Kisoro town at high speed, he lost control and overturned both victims hit their heads on a stone.
According to the Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson Assistant Supretendant of Police Elly Maate said that, The scene was visited and documented, sketch plan drown and bodies of the deceased were taken to Kisoro hospital mortuary where postmortem was done today. And Inquiries continue.
