Quarrels and Noise at a Bar leads to Perishing of a Life of a 35 Years old Man in Rukiga District.
The territorial Police in Rukiga has arrested five (5) suspects over the murder of Ambrose Ndyomugabe a 35 Years Old Man, a resident of Kakiiri village Kitanga Parish Kashambya Sub county Rukiga district.
The suspects are; James Rugwisa 54 Years a builder and a resident of Kakiiri Village Kitanga Parish Kashambya Subcounty Rukiga District, Johnson Tumukunde 33 Years business man a resident of Kashumuluzo Village Kitanga Parish Kashambya Subcounty Rukiga District, Bitakaramire Banegura 53 Years Mukiga a former crime preventer and a resident of Kakiiri Village Kitanga Parish Kashambya Subcounty Rukiga District, Stephen Byamukama 41 Years a resident of Kashumuluzo Village Kitanga Parish Kashambya Subcounty Rukiga District, Sharon Tukamumpa 35 Years old a resident of Kashumuluzo Village Kitanga Parish Kashambya Subcounty Rukiga District .
It’s alleged that on the 02/11/2024 Ambrose Ndyomugabe (deceased ) left his home and went to Kashumuluzo trading centre to drink as it has been his habit.
He usually returns home for lunch but this time the wife waited for him to return but didn’t. However he was seen in the trading centre making noise drunk and one suspect was seen assaulting him with a stick in public and he was stopped and warned by the locals.
Also the suspects were seen with the deceased in the bar.
Then at around 11 pm a by passer one Tumuhimbise who is also a cousin brother to the deceased found him lying along side the footpath in pool of blood. He immediately informed the brother to the deceased Bosco Turyasingura on the mobile phone who also informed other locals and on reaching the scene, they confirmed it and they informed Rukiga CPS police.
According to the Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson Assistant Supretendant of Police Elly Maate said that, a team of police officers responded to the scene, processed and documented it. Relevant Statements recorded from relevant witnesses, the five suspects were arrested to help police in investigations.
The body was taken to Mparo Health Center lV for postmortem and there after handed over to the relatives for decent burrial. As Inquiries continues.
