He also acknowledged that whoever watched today’s games accepted that these girls were doing incredibly good with passion for what they were doing. ” I believe that if they continue at this pace they were start attracting Football Scouts from both within and Outside the Country. ” Hon Andrew Aja Baryayanga said.
Hon Baryayanga further added that I really love sports, when I was the Area Member of Parliament I was too involved in supporting Sports but I had taken a break to give a lee way to the incumbent Member of Parliament to do his level best of developing and working for his Constituency but I have noticed that there has been a great decline ever since I left Parliament and I resolved to wake up and start Talent promotion and Development again.
Because by the time I departed Parliamentary duties we had scouted Kigezi Region as an area where to construct a Modern Stadium that matches the standards of Nakivubo stadium and St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende because we had noticed that if each Region gets a stadium Uganda alone could be in a position of hosting International and Continental Sports Tournaments like the African Cup of Nations, AFCON but now due to the fact that Uganda doesn’t have enough stadiums, we are Co-hosts with Kenya and Tanzania.
