Hon. Andrew Baryayanga Aja, the former Member of Parliament for Kabale Municipality and current chairman of the Kigezi High School Lower Primary Old Students Association (KHIPOSA), has called for the establishment of a computer lab at Kigezi High School Lower Primary to enhance the quality of education.

This call was made during a KHIPOSA executive meeting held today at the school’s main hall in Northern Division, Kabale Municipality, as part of the preparations for the school’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) set for December 27th, 2024.

In his address, Hon. Aja emphasized the importance of equipping students with digital skills to prepare them for success in an increasingly technology-driven world. He stressed that the introduction of a computer lab would be a crucial step toward empowering students with the tools they need for the future.

The AGM will bring together former students, parents, and other stakeholders to discuss ways of supporting the school’s growth and improving its educational standards.

Hon. Aja has also called upon parents to continue supporting the school and their children, ensuring that all necessary resources are provided for academic excellence.

In addition, Hon. Aja urged students to make the most of the long holiday by being productive—supporting their parents where needed and dedicating time to their studies to stay on track academically.
