Fr. Bruno Byomuhangi Urges Catholics to Fulfill their Duties and Responsibilities as a Phenomenon for Marking this Year’s Solemnity of All Saints Day.
Catholics have been urged to prepare their lives to be Canonized as Saints after their Earthly life by doing perfectly the small things of their Duties and Responsibilities for the good of God and their neighbours as a Phenomenon for Marking this Year’s Solemnity of All Saints Day.
The Urge was made by the Chaplain of Kabale Regional Referral Hospital and Kabale School of Comprehensive Nursing Rev. Fr. Bruno Byomuhangi today while celebrating the Sacrifice of Mass at Christ the King Catholic Parish, Kabale Church in Kigongi Cell Central Division Kabale Municipality. He explained that Fulfilling your duties and responsibilities with the Love of God and your neighbours is key and vital for one to become a Saint. Being a Saint is difficult and at the same time simple, Sticking to your daily duties and responsibilities and fulfilling them up to the expectations of God and your neighbours whether your a Parent, Priest, Doctor and many other professions is more important to the gift of Sainthood.
Fr. Byomuhangi also reminded the Congregation that, The call to Holiness is a call for all the Baptized Catholics and the Ideal for Sanctity is not reserved for a group, race and tribe of People. It starts from the Earth we are living in but not in heaven where Saints live. Your daily routine is certainly what makes you a Saint ” The Destiny of someone is determined by what they do on a daily basis. ” The Sacrifice of Mass we celebrate in the Catholic Church is an Inspiration to all Catholics in the World to work for being Saints.
During the course of his Homily Fr. Byomuhangi further emphasized that, ” The strength of a Catholic believer is not considered in how many times they fall down throughout the course of the Faith but in their ability to rise up again. “
Towards the end of the Sacrifice of Mass Fr. Byomuhangi also asked Believers to start living an inspiring life for all Catholics following an example of Kenneth Niwamanya, The Head of Catechists of Christ the King Catholic Parish, Kabale who graduated with a Degree of Bachelor’s of Business Administration specializing in Accounting from Kabale University last week on the 25th October, 2024.
