Minister Musasizi Criticizes Daily Monitor Over Alleged False Reporting, Emphasizes NRM’s Development Plans

The State Minister for Finance, Planning and Economic Development in charge of General duties Hon. Minister Henry Musasizi Ariganyira has today slammed the Daily Monitor Newspaper for false reporting concerning the Political, Social and Economic departments of the National Resistance Movement Government. 

Minister Musasizi who also doubles as the Rubanda East County Member of Parliament made these remarks today at St. Paul’s Seminary Rushoroza in Kabale Municipality during the commemoration of the Feast day of Saints Paul and Peter the Patron saint of the school. This was after the head of Marketing at Nation Media Group who was also in attendance at the function Deus Turyamureeba bragged about how they made headlines with this year’s Presidential State of the Nation Address and indicated how the President had said nothing. 

Minister Musasizi further told Turyamureeba to always respect the President especially in his presence because through the President and the National Resistance Movement have a bigger plan and program of eradicating Poverty among the citizens of Uganda through programs such as the Parish Development Model. 

At the same function which started with the sacrifice of Mass led by the Bishop of Kabale Diocese Rt. Rev. Callist Rubaramira 19 students were confirmed into the Catholic faith. Bishop Rubaramira also asked students to develop and have moral and ethical values and principles that will guide them throughout their earthly life if they are to become successful people in future. 

Also during the same function a total of Uganda shillings 97,849,200 millions were fund raised both in cash and pledge to support the building of a storied block set to accommodate the Administration offices, Uganda National Examinations rooms for both Ordinary and Advanced level students and the science Laboratories.
