Kabale District Boss Vows to Jail Corrupt Government Workers
The Kabale district Chairperson LCV Nelson Nshangabashaija has vowed to arrest any government worker found involving themselves in corruption scandals of government property meant to benefit the citizens of Uganda.
Chairman Nshangabashaija made this vow today at the district headquarters on Makanga hill in Kabale Municipality while handing over a total of 784 iron sheets and 237 kilograms of iron nails to 13 Primary schools in Kabale district. He said these building materials were only given to schools which have built buildings through the parents’ support for more classrooms to accommodate a bigger number of students in order to ensure a good and favourable learning environment for all the pupils and therefore emphasized that they must be used for the purpose they have been released for.
He further added that isschool leaders and staff members should ensure flexibility with the pupils because it eases the learning and teaching process hence resulting into academic excellence.
Nshangabashaija also called upon the teachers and other stakeholders to ensure spreading patriotism of their country as they grow up because love and pride for one’s country helps the country to overcome wars like those that happened in Sudan and Libya.
According to the District Education Officer Moses Bwengye thanked the chairman through the district council for including money for supporting schools in the district budget and asked the other school stake holders to use the building materials for the purpose they have released for.
