The Survivor of the Kabale-Mbarara Highway Accident, Geoffrey Onyango Dies in Kenya.
The police in Kabale have reliably been informed that the second victim who was the driver of Motor vehicle UAQ 912N/ SSD 351Y Nissan semi trailer Fuel tank, Geoffrey Onyango 34 years old, a Luo by tribe, a Kenyan by nationality and resident of Eldoret in Kenya has passed on from Kenya where he had been evacuated for treatment.
The accident occurred on the 26/10/ 2024 at about 1130hrs at Kyanamira Trading Center along Mbarara Kabale high way in Kabale district, while the vehicle was from Mbarara side towards Kabale town, it lost control and overturned due to brake failure and caught fire immediately.
According to the Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson Assistant Supretendant of Police Elly Maate said that, The driver ran out blazing with fire, he was with a turn man Rodgers Onyango 20 years old also Kenyan by nationality, who was missing until after fire was put off and his body discovered burnt from therein, which of his remains are still at Kabale hospital mortuary.
