A 26 Years Old Female UNEB Invigilator is in Police Custody Over Examination Malpractice in Kasese District.

Police in Bwera Division, Kasese District is Investigating Circumstances surrounding the the arrest of a one Elizabeth Kabugho a female aged 26 years old, a Uganda National Examinations Board, UNEB Invigilator, attached to Vision Sen Sec School in Kisinga Sub county in kasese District.

it’s is alleged that the said Invigilator was was arrested with a missing Geography Paper 1, she went ahead to use her phone to photograph UNEB Materials which is contravine UNEB Rules and Regulations.

Police responded and had the suspect arrested, she is currently detained at Bwera Police Station pending to be arragned in courts of law. we also caution UNEB officials to desist from Examination Malpractice or else they will face the long arm of the law.

According to the Rwenzori East Regional Police Spokesperson Supretendant of Police Nelson Tumushime stated that, In addition to that also Police at Kasese Central Police Station is holding three (3) suspects in custody on a charge of murder by Assault. The suspects are Brian Musinguzi, Alovis Emmanuel Alovis and Brenda Mbambu.

The trio are alleged to have murdered a one Stephen Mugisa a male aged 18 years old, and left Clavin Kyamirika a male aged 16 years nursing serious injuries and is currently admitted at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital in Kasese Municipality.

According to the eye witnesses that were interviewed by Police , the said suspects assaulted the deceased with sticks, empty bottles of beer in a Local Bar that caused his death.  This occured in Kitoro Cell, Nyakasanga II, Nyamwamba Division in Kasese Municipality.
