Rukiga District Local Government Approved a Supplementary Budget of Ushs. 33 Million.

Rukiga District council has today approved 33 Million supplementary budgets.

The budget was approved in a council session that was held at the district Rukiiko hall. The motion to approve the budget was laid and moved by the Rwamucucu Sub county council Samuel Niwandinda who doubles as the secretary for Finance, planning and administration and was seconded by Muhereza Gaston Bucundura, the Kashambya Sub County councilor.

During the laying of the Supplementary budget, Niwandinda said that the district received this money from the ministry of Finance, Planning and economic development for extension development grant.

He added that the priority area will be used to build a fish hatchery for fish production in Rukiga district.

He added that this will help Rukiga district to improve on the revenue and will also be a source.
