A 37 Year Old Commits Suicide on Account of Demon Attacks.
The Territorial Police in Kanungu are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of Bernard Turyamureeba a 37 Years Old resident of Bukora Cell Northern Division Kanungu Town Council Kanungu District, whose body was found in a pool of blood.
It’s alleged that on Friday 20/09/2024 at about 9 am the deceased started talking an uncoordinated words and family members as usual, hurriedly got for him some tablets to cool him down being family demonic issues which always attack him that all along was battling with mental illness on and off. This led to the separation with the wife and left a child of 12 Years to the father.
On 20/09/2024 at about 3 pm the deceased was served food to in his house by his biological parents and placed it on table as they always cater for him, and on coming back to pick plates after raining , they found him while groaning in a pool of blood with deep cut wound on the neck whole a panga containing suspected blood stains placed between his two legs.
They immediately informed the Neighbours who went on ground and Kanungu Police Station Officers were also informed and rushed to respond to the incident.
According to the Kigezi regional Police Spokesperson Assistant Supretendant of Police Elly Maate said that, The scene of crime was visited and documented, relevant witnesses statements were recorded under DRF/04/2024, and the body examined at Kanungu Health Center IV. Exhibits of the Panga recovered at the crime scene.
