A Fatal Road Crush in Kabale Municipality Claims a Life of a Motorcyclist.
The territorial Police in Kabale district has registered a fatal road crush that claimed life of the motorcyclist which occurred last night at about 10 : 30 pm at Mwanjari along Kabale-Katuna road in Kabale district.
The accident occurred between a Motor vehicle under registration number UAH 868N Toyota Land cruiser Prado white in colour driven by John Mutanda Mutyaba 38 years old, a resident of Kawempe Mbogo, Kawempe Division in Kampala District and motorcycle registration number UFR 929L Bajaj boxer red in colour, particulars of rider not yet established.
It’s alleged that while Motor vehicle regisration number UAH 868N was from Katuna side coming to Kabale town and motorcycle UFR 929L was from Kabale town going to Katuna direction, the rider left his side and moved to the side of the vehicle and knocked head on with it and he sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Kabale regional referral hospital, where he died on arrival.
According to the Kigezi regional Police Spokesperson Assistant Supretendant of Police Elly Maate said that the Police were notified, the accident scene was visited and documented under TAR 68/2024, motorcycle and motor vehicle involved removed and parked at Kabale Central Police station yard pending inspection by iov as inquiries are at hand.
