One Person does and 2 attains serious injuries in a Road Accident in Amolatar District.
One person identified as Denis Abia aged 26 years old a resident of Bar-Ajang village, Kongo mit parish, Amolatar District died after being rushed to the hospital plus two others victims when they got involved in an accident on the 30th July 2024 at around 7 pm from Agweli village, Ayam-Awele parish, Arwotcek Sub-County in Amolatar District.
It’s alleged that Denis Abia was riding a bajaj boxerotorcycle red in colour Registration Number UEY 284C while carrying two passengers, they ramped into moving animals (cows) crossing the road from Agweli village, Arwotcek Sub-County in Amolatar District and got serious injuries and all were rushed to Amai Hospital for treatment, however at around 5 am, Denis Abia (rider)was pronounced dead.
The other two victims were identified as Gerald Ongen aged 21 years old and Vincent Ogwang aged 15 years old.
According to North Kyoga regional Police Spokesperson Supretendant of Police Patrick Jimmy Okema said that Police were informed and immediately the scene was visited led by the OC Agoga police post and his team, sketch plan drawn, Pf48A&B issued. And Motorcycle taken and parked at Agoga police post pending IOV inspection. PF3 issued to the victims.
